Our Story & Vision

The word “paccaya” (pronounced pachchayā) is an ancient Pali word that literally translates as, “a facilitating factor” and is most often used within the context of the Buddhist path.

Our aspiration is to become a mere catalyst—a facilitating factor—in bridging the timeless Dhamma with a moving, modern world, and is what inspires and drives all of our activities.

Paccaya Foundation uses transformative communication methods that maintain the authenticity of the dhamma, while emphasizing Buddhism’s continued compatibility with our modern world.
